Possidi, Sithonia, Halkidiki, Greece

Possidi sits on the west coast of Kassandra and features a big sand dune stretching into the Aegean Sea. Overlooked by the old castle of Mende, it's a tourist village but a very peaceful place stay. The sandy peninsula reaches out for hundreds of meters into the sea and offers plenty of space for sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear waters. Possidi is the beach of Kalandra and it is well known. The most famous characteristic of the region is its lighthouse, which is built for many years. The camping, the countless beach-bars, the local meat, the fires on its endless beach, make Possidi a unique piece of the Greek land that remains unforgettable to its visitor.
